In order to transfer HNT out of your Emrit wallet, you must import your Helium wallet into the Emrit app using your 12 seed words.
If you haven’t created a Helium wallet yet, download the Helium mobile app (LINK) and create a wallet.
Follow these instructions to import your Helium wallet into the Emrit app:
Navigate to the settings menu in the Emrit app via the gear icon in the bottom right of your screen.
Scroll down to the bottom of the settings menu and select “Import Helium Wallet”.
Enter your 12-word recovery seed phrase.
After completing these steps, you will be able to transfer HNT out of your Emrit wallet.
Please Note: Your 12-word seed phrase should be written down and kept in a safe place. Emrit nor Helium can recover these seed words if lost. They should never be shared with anyone, as they provide direct access to your wallet.
Additionally, the Emrit app will NOT retain your seed words in any way. Our application is built directly on top of the Helium API using open source to ensure the privacy of our hosts and their seed words.
